Decision
Well, Arnold denied the request for clemency. I almost feel bad. Last night on CNN someone said that by not granting clemency, the message is sent to gang members that there is never any hope. Once you have been in a gang, the world will always view you as a gang member, no matter what you do. That was interesting. I hadn't thought about it that way! Maybe he was right. Contrarily, does granting clemency say that once you have been found guilty and you write a few books, you are no longer responsible for your wrongs? I wouldn't really grant the clemency because he never admitted to the killings. How can you say someone is reformed and wouldn't do it again when they never said they did it in the first place. I can't be apologetic for something that I didn't do. I don't know. This is going to be good stuff for the history books.
Rest in peace Richard Pryor! My dad loves ya!
